How a hearing aid test drive works
Step
Book your free consultation to explore hearing aid options. After you select the type you’d like to trial, we’ll order a new device and schedule your fitting.Â
Step
At your Fitting Appointment, we’ll program your hearing aid and fine-tune the sound so it is comfortable for you. If you can, please bring a family member or friend with you as we like to check you can hear familiar voices clearly and naturally.
While you are here, we’ll teach you how the hearing aids work to make sure you feel confident with them. We’ll also do some tests and measurements to ensure the sound is perfect for your ear and hearing loss.

About two weeks later you will have another appointment with us so we can check how the hearing aids have been going and do some fine tuning. When you first get hearing aids, you need to acclimatise to the device and get reacquainted with hearing sounds that you didn’t realise you were missing.
Experiencing your new hearing aids in this way will provide you with information on which sounds you’d like to be sharper, clearer, duller and softer – all based on your real world experience. We’ll also look at your hearing aid’s data-logging to measure hours of use, environments and the history of any volume adjustments you made.
Using all this information, we can adjust the hearing aids to make them sound even better.
Step
You have another 10 – 15 days to experience your new hearing aids before we see you again for a final fine-tune. At this last appointment, we’ll talk to you about whether this device is the right solution for you or whether you would like to do a comparison trial with a different type of hearing aid.

Once we have found hearing aids that you are totally happy with, the service doesn’t stop there.
We also offer the Hearing Experience Package to every client. This entitles you to free appointments for the lifetime of the hearing aids. (Total value: $1500)
The Hearing Experience Package includes:

- All hearing aid adjustment appointments
- All consultations and any reports you may require
- Servicing and onsite repairs
