The Three Musketeers
Children’s Fund
Since 2015, Hearing Sense has been a proud supporter of a not-for-profit group called The Three Musketeers Children’s Fund. This charity focuses on supporting existing charities working to improve the health, education and safety of children in countries where there are few resources to assist vulnerable children.
Of special interest to The Three Musketeers foundation is assisting hearing impaired children in countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Gambia and South Africa. Often deaf children in these countries are considered “stupid” which frequently leads to mistreatment and limited educational opportunities.
Working with Deaf Societies – particularly the Kenyan Deaf Society – the foundation sponsors teachers of the deaf and supplies hearing aids to children who otherwise wouldn’t have access to this technology.
To date, The Three Musketeers Children’s Fund have sent over 300 hearing aids from Australia with plans to send another 400 over the next two years.
You can help us to help The Three Musketeers by donating your pre-loved hearing aids each time you upgrade your existing devices. Simply drop them into one of our clinics or if you prefer, you can post them to us.
