At the constant stirring from friends and the frustrated look received from “her- indoors”, I knew it was time to consult Hearing Sense – why – the name made sense to start with. Then I met Kelly, who soon showed me the difference between listening in a crowd “ before” and “after”.
Then she explained the long term affects of ignoring the obvious – becoming introverted, effects of hearing loss on the brain, causing frustration amongst family and friends. After a few weeks, the sound of my own voice is slowly returning to how it seemed before and the word “what” only gets used when I forget to put the hearing aids in.
Can not recommend Hearing Sense enough.
