I was recently assessed for noise induced hearing loss by Kelly K at Hearing Sense. Hearing loss had for years been a problem in noisy surroundings and at home particularly watching TV with family members who didn’t like the volume settings I preferred. My wife is softly spoken which was becoming a problem as my hearing gradually deteriorated. Kelly provided a comprehensive assessment and detailed but easily understood explanations of my problem and its recommended solutions. I was offered a wide range of options for hearing aids starting with no frills all the way to the top end. Kelly did not pressure me to make a decision and I found what I was happy with easily enough. Once I had decided which price range I was shopping in Kelly then recommended what she regarded as the best tailored option for me. I have been happy with the recommendation and impressed by Kelly’s doggedness in coming to a solution for an unexpected narrowing of one ear canal. The follow up period was well tailored and I am currently at my full prescription setting after several weeks of tinkering. I am very happy with the outcome and am wearing the aids for most of my waking hours. I still miss the odd word but I no longer dread going to restaurants and can readily follow conversations at home. My experience with Kelly and her team was faultless. Kelly has a genuine love of her work and a bubbly personality, plus she is very switched on. Her approach is exemplary. I couldn’t imagine how patient/client care could be better than this.
